Dapo is a Evidence Synthesis Analyst at NIHR Innovation Observatory. He is also employed as a Research Associate in the Institute of Health & Society with his research work at IHS is focusing on self-management interventions for COPD and other chronic conditions in primary care, and polypharmacy and multimorbidity in an ageing population. Dapo’s research interests are in primary care and public health with a focus on the contributions of pharmacy within the wider, multidisciplinary public health and primary care team.
Dapo has an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and a PhD in Pharmacy Practice. Prior to joining Newcastle University, Dapo worked at the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) at the University of Manchester as a Research Associate in designing, developing and reviewing CPD resources for pharmacy professionals in England. Dapo also has previous experience working as a pharmacist within community and hospital settings, and within the pharmaceutical industry sector (sales and marketing).
