
Dr Louise Tanner
Analyst - Evidence Synthesis
Louise is an Evidence Synthesis Analyst at NIHR Innovation Observatory. She is also a member of the Evidence Synthesis and Health Economics Teams in the Institute of Health & Society, working on various other evidence synthesis-related projects. Louise graduated from Durham University with two BSc (Hons) degrees in Applied Psychology in 2003 and Biology in 2009. She worked as a College Lecturer of Human Biology and Human Physiology and Health before starting a job as a Public Health Improvement Facilitator and undertaking post-graduate qualifications in Public Health. She was awarded her PhD in recognition of a thesis entitled: ‘what determines spatio-temporal variations in cold-weather-related mortality in England?’ in 2016.
