Patience is an Evidence Synthesis Analyst at NIHR Innovation Observatory. She also works for the Evidence Synthesis team in the Institute of Health and Society. Her role includes undertaking health research and synthesising the evidence from multiple sources to address the effectiveness of health interventions or new treatments. She gained a degree in Social Care at Teesside University and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at Newcastle University. Her master’s project was a systematic review which focused on appraising and summarising current evidence on the effectiveness, costs and cost-effectiveness of alcohol interventions for older people.
