
Kate Lanyi
Research Assistant
Kate is a Research Assistant aligned to both the Medicines and Insight Programmes. Her role includes monitoring new innovations; gathering evidence on new health innovations in order to produce Medicine Programme Technology Briefings; supporting methods development in the area of soft-intelligence tool; and exploring the value and role of AI in monitoring, tracking, and analysing soft intelligence to explore health impacts.
Kate completed her BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University in 2018 and then her MRes in Diabetes at Newcastle University in 2019.
She is interested in the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare and how this can be used to develop personalised treatment plans.
