Ross Fairbairn
Research Assistant
Ross is a Research Assistant aligned to the Medicines Programme. He works in a team using a variety of manual and automatic methods to undertake horizon scanning to detect, monitor and report on new and upcoming health innovations for timely notification to national stakeholders. He also contributes to the development of digital tools to improve horizon-scanning processes and outputs.
Ross has a wide-ranging background in biomedical science and has experience working with longitudinal cohort studies and the study of health inequalities. He completed his MRes in Epidemiology at Newcastle University.
Ross is interested in working with large datasets to improve the process of capturing and analysing information.
