Atefeh is an Evidence Synthesis Analyst at NIHR Innovation Observatory. She is also a member of the Evidence Synthesis and Health Economics Teams in the Institute of Health & Society. She has a background in health economics and healthcare management. She has worked as a junior health economist in a research centre in Tehran and did 2 internships at the Aberdeen University in the Health Economics Research Unit. Her research interests span both health outcome data analysis and health economic evaluation, with specific areas of interests including the evaluation of programs in cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and cancer area, use of patient-level data to inform decision models (survival analysis and health outcome analysis) and evidence synthesis (including systematic review and meta-analysis).
