Emily Hunter
Research Assistant
Emily is a Research Assistant at the Innovation Observatory, aligned to the Insights Programme. Her aims are to capture the attitudes, behaviours, and experiences of the public in order to drive health and service innovation. She also utilises methods of engagement and involvement with the public and diverse stakeholders, in particular with families, young people and children.
Her experience is in anthropological, qualitative and ethnographic methods, with a first degree in Biological, Social and Evolutionary Anthropology, and an MSc in Medical Anthropology. Emily is deeply interested in interdisciplinary methodologies, applied and advanced in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
Emily is currently advancing her research skills and expertise through an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Fellowship, focused on mixed methods in the context of the WEARables pilot study, that evaluates the use of multisensory wearable devices with children 0-36 months.
