Eugenie Johnson

Research Assistant

Eugenie is a Research Assistant in the Evidence Synthesis Group working within the Innovation Observatory, mainly aligned to the Insights Programme. As well as working collaboratively with multiple research groups and stakeholders for the Insights Programme, she also supports evidence synthesis processes, including the production of systematic reviews.

Eugenie’s specific interests include patient and public involvement (PPIE), including methods to better support the inclusion of patients and the public in research, as well as evidence mapping and evidence gap maps (EGMs). She is particularly interested in urogynaecological, gynaecological and obstetric health, including how we can better support women to be involved in research into these areas. Her MSc dissertation incorporated stakeholder perspectives to produce an EGM on interventions for treating obstetric fistula.
