Dr Fiona Beyer
Programme Lead - Information Research
Fiona is a Senior Research Associate in the Evidence Synthesis Group and leads the Information Research Programme within the Innovation Observatory, working across our programmes to support methods development. She is involved in range of research projects including the Behavioural Sciences and Older People & Frailty Policy Research Units, and the Newcastle NICE External Assessment Centre.
Fiona is an information specialist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Information and Library Management and long experience in carrying out systematic reviews. Previous to her role with the Evidence Synthesis Group and Innovation Observatory, she worked for Cochrane and for the Centre for Reviews and Dissemination.
Fiona is interested in evidence synthesis methods and is undertaking a part-time PhD looking at evidence synthesis methods to optimise the use of complex behaviour change interventions.
