Dr Hongbo Bo

Research Associate

Hongbo is a Research Associate working on the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Programme. His role includes conducting research in health data science and developing novel AI-based data science tools to support Innovation Observatory processes and external-facing outputs.

Hongbo has an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Manchester. His Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Bristol is currently pending.

Hongbo is particularly interested in data mining from social media data, developing novel graph deep learning algorithms, image data processing, and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI).
