Lucy Imber
Senior Administrator
Lucy is a Senior Administrator supporting the Management Team and programmes delivering key outputs, such as Technology Briefings to our stakeholders, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) and NHS England & Improvement (NHS E/I). Lucy is involved in the organisation and management of workflow and processes to ensure the timely delivery of outputs and data.
After achieving a BA (Hons) in English and Art History, she began working within the Library Service of Gateshead Council as a Library Assistant. Lucy then went on to complete a MA in Museum and Heritage Management, and progressed to Assistant Librarian, working within the Information Services team and St Mary’s Heritage Centre. When the Library Service brought in volunteers to run 5 of the Gateshead Libraries, she was appointed to manage the volunteers and the 5 libraries.
After a brief spell at Capita as a Pensions Payroll Assistant, Lucy then joined Newcastle University as a Personal Assistant within the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre (JWMDRC). She then moved on to work as a Registry Coordinator within the JWMDRC, where she managed two international, ultra-rare neuromuscular disease registries.
