Research Assistant
Oleta is a Research Assistant in the Evidence Synthesis Group working within the Innovation Observatory, aligned to the Information Research Programme.
Oleta contributes information specialist support to innovative Innovation Observatory tools and processes. She also develops and runs literature searches and supports information management for systematic reviews.
After completing her Undergraduate degree in Biomedical science, she went on to study for an MSc in Information Science (Data Analytics) at Northumbria University.
Oleta’s primary research interests are data analysis, machine learning and their applications in health and social care. However, she is also interested in text mining and automation, as she is keen to explore how she can implement these technologies into her role as an Information Specialist.
