Dr Opeyemi Agbeleye

Research Assistant

Opeyemi is a research assistant aligned to our medicine horizon scanning programme. He regularly monitors new innovations, gathers evidence on new health technologies to national stakeholders and writes medicine programme technology briefings for the NICE Technology Appraisal process. He also contributes to wide range of research projects in evidence synthesis.

Opeyemi is a medical doctor by background and has a master’s degree in Health Economics and Policy from University of Birmingham. He did his post graduate training in community medicine working as a specialist registrar during which he supported medical and nursing students teaching in community medicine and biostatistics.

Opeyemi is interested in evidence synthesis methods which can be used to address ageing or longevity topics and how these can be used to drive innovations.
