Dr Ryan Kenny
Research Associate
Ryan is a Research Associate in the Evidence Synthesis Group working within the Innovation Observatory, aligned to the Devices, Diagnostics & Digital Programme. In addition to supporting the development of internal systems and tools to support the programme, he collaborates with multiple research groups, providing support for evidence synthesis methods, in particular systematic reviews. He has a specific interest in meta-analytical methods.
Ryan has a background in sports science. His PhD assessed the effects of textured insoles on balance and possible cortical mechanism by which these changes occur. He is therefore interested in how the body collates and integrates information for movement/motor planning and ways in which this may be improved, to improve everyday life.
