Sonia Garcia Gonzalez-Moral

Research Associate

Sonia is a Research Associate aligned to the Information Research Programme, working across all our programmes, the Newcastle NICE External Assessment Centre and a range of Evidence Synthesis Group projects.   

Sonia is an experienced information specialist and a qualified librarian with 20 years' experience in the sector. She holds an MSc in Health Research Methods and has experience in a range of systematic review methods.  Sonia’s main research area now is in horizon scanning methods with a focus on MedTech innovations. She is currently undertaking her PhD part-time (Newcastle University) focusing on horizon scanning methods in this space.
