Lucy is an Evidence Synthesis Analyst aligned to the Devices, Diagnostics & Digital Programme and undertakes horizon scanning activities for new and emerging health technologies (devices, diagnostics and digital) with the potential to address unmet needs. In addition to scanning, Lucy contributes to the delivery of both routine and bespoke intelligence reports to national bodies to support expedited access of innovative health technologies and services to NHS patients. She also supports the Medicine Programme to gather evidence on new health innovations in order to produce Technology Briefings.
Lucy graduated from Newcastle University in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences. She is currently completing a part-time MSc in Public Health, also at Newcastle University, with a particular interest in epidemiology and health inequalities.
